Our vision for the Kokeshi Cybrothel experience was a simple one: to explore the avenues linking the physical world and the mind. In this 180 degree virtual reality experience, Angie Lynx’s electric performance teleports the viewer into uncharted territories of the mind, allowing them to draw their own conclusions about reality. When shooting with Kokeshi we combined real-world practical effects with advanced post-production techniques to further blend the real and the artificial. We knew we’d be friends with Kokeshi from the day we met her. Launched in April 2020, Cybrothel Berlin is a futuristic adult playground where clients can enjoy a variety of sophisticated AI experiences including pleasure dolls and VR technology. After meeting Kokeshi and the team, it was the natural decision to collaborate in an effort to create a whole new experience, never before seen. By October 2021, the project was in full swing and the Cybrothel Berlin team flew to Barcelona to begin production.
